This Privacy Policy explains how Happsband LLC handles information for Heretoday.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as email and username, content you share, usage data, location data when you grant permission, and photo metadata such as GPS coordinates and capture timestamp from photos you choose to upload.

How we use information

We use information to operate Heretoday, personalize your experience, communicate with you, maintain safety, support account features, and improve the service.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to provide the service, such as with trusted infrastructure providers, or when required by law.

Public content

Content you post, including destination posts and profile details, may be visible to others depending on your privacy settings. You control what you choose to share.

Profile privacy and choices

Heretoday includes privacy settings for profile visibility, content visibility, follower/following visibility, and post impressions. You can edit your profile, delete content, manage account settings, temporarily deactivate, or permanently delete your account in the app.

Place listings and sponsored content

Some app surfaces include sponsored placements, and we aim to label them clearly in-app. Unless explicitly labeled as sponsored or officially partnered, references to places and landmarks are independent and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

AI-assisted place content

To provide features like Fun Fact, Best Time, History, and localization, we may process place text through AI-assisted systems. This content is for informational travel planning, may contain inaccuracies, and should be verified with official sources before important decisions.

Reports, safety, and moderation

When users submit in-app reports, we process related information, such as reporter account details, reported account or content identifiers, report reason, and timestamps, to investigate abuse, enforce policies, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. After account deletion, we delete or de-identify personal data, except limited records we must retain for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ.

Changes

We may update this Policy periodically. Continued use of Heretoday means you accept the updated Policy.
