What to include

  • Your Heretoday username or account email, if relevant.
  • Your device model and iOS version.
  • A short description of the issue and what you expected to happen.
  • Screenshots or links only if they help explain the issue.

Account deletion

Heretoday includes an in-app permanent account deletion flow. Open the app, go to your account settings, and follow the delete account prompts. If you cannot access the app, email us for help.

Privacy and data requests

Signed-in users can submit privacy requests in Account > Privacy Request. For privacy questions, data requests, parent or guardian requests, non-account requests, or account access issues, email the support address above and include enough information for us to identify and verify the account involved.

Non-consensual intimate media takedown requests

If an intimate image or video of you was shared on Heretoday without consent, including an AI-generated, altered, or digitally forged intimate image or video, email contact@happsband.com with the subject Takedown request.

Signed-in users can also choose Intimate abuse from the in-app report reasons where available.

Include:

  • enough information for us to identify the content, such as a post link, username, screenshot, date, location, or where the content appears;
  • your contact information;
  • a statement that you are the person shown or are authorized to act for the person shown;
  • a good-faith statement that the intimate image or video was shared without consent;
  • a statement that the information in your request is accurate;
  • your electronic signature, such as your typed full name.

We review valid requests urgently and remove required content and known identical copies as soon as possible, no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request.

Safety, abuse, and other rights reports

For general safety concerns, use in-app reporting where available. Authorized Happsband admins may review reported content, reported profiles, account details, and related context needed to investigate the report, including content whose normal visibility is restricted by profile privacy settings. Admin queue access and actions may be recorded in internal audit records for accountability, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, and fraud prevention. For copyright, trademark, impersonation, privacy, publicity, or other rights concerns, email us with details and supporting information.

Place information

Heretoday provides travel context for discovery and planning. Place details such as hours, access rules, pricing, and closures can change quickly or be missing. Verify critical information with official sources before visiting. If Google Maps is your selected map provider, it may offer more reliable real-time business information such as hours and closure updates.

Common questions

Is Heretoday available globally, and what age do I need to be?

Heretoday may be available in many App Store regions. You must be at least 13 years old and also meet the minimum age required where you live or use the app. App Store age ratings can vary by region, and Heretoday is not directed to children under 13.

How does profile privacy work?

Heretoday lets you choose Public, Mutual, or Only me for profile visibility. These settings control normal user-to-user visibility for your full profile and posts. They do not prevent authorized Happsband admins from reviewing reported content, reported profiles, or related account context when needed for safety, moderation, support, legal requests, or policy enforcement.

Can admins review reported private or mutual-only content?

Yes, but only for limited purposes like safety, moderation, support, legal requests, policy enforcement, appeals, or compliance. Profile privacy controls normal user-to-user visibility. Admin queue access and actions may be recorded in internal audit records for accountability, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, and fraud prevention.

Can I edit a post after uploading it?

Yes. You can edit your My Experience details, including ratings, personal note, tip, late-upload date, and social links. The place and photos cannot be changed after upload, so delete and repost if those are wrong.

If I upload a late post, where will it appear?

Late uploads are grouped by the photo's original date in profile views, so a photo taken in 2025 appears under 2025 in your profile. In Home feed, posts are still ordered by posted date so new uploads are visible to other users right away.

Can I download my own uploaded photos?

Yes, but only for your own posts. You can download photos from a post you uploaded. The first daily post downloads are free, and heavier download days may ask you to watch a short video ad to unlock more downloads. You'll also need photo library access on your device.

How do experience points work?

You earn XP from the landmarks tied to the posts you share. Each landmark can add XP once per year, including late uploads, based on the year you share it. Posting the same landmark again that year will appear normally, but won't add more XP.

How do push notification settings work?

Push notification settings control device alerts for likes, comments, follows, posts, mentions, and nearby favorites. Nearby favorite alerts can use your location permission to let you know when a favorited place is nearby. When broader language support is enabled, push copy can follow your app language where supported. Turning a category off stops push alerts for that category, but new notifications still appear in Activity unless you mute a specific post or user.

Why are landmark illustrations not always exact?

Landmark illustrations are AI-generated, so they can be stylized or less precise than real photos, and may not show the exact current appearance of a place. For the most accurate view, check traveler posts and photos from people who have visited the place when available.

How does sponsored content work?

Heretoday uses labeled ad placements, including Google AdMob where enabled. For AdMob, we may ask for Apple tracking permission so Google can use the advertising identifier to deliver personalized ads and measure ad performance; if you decline, ads may still appear but may be less personalized. UMP or consent screens may also appear where required, and when Google requires an ongoing privacy-options entry point, Account > Ad Privacy Options opens Google's in-app form so you can manage or withdraw ad consent. You can also change Apple tracking permission in iOS Settings. We also support Heretoday-managed direct sponsorships for future placements, but those only appear when direct sponsorship is enabled and will be labeled in-app, for example with Sponsored or Ad. Ad and rewarded surfaces only appear when enabled by Heretoday's remote configuration. We may use aggregate destination demand, such as destination views and favorites, to understand popular cities and places and to plan future sponsorships. Sponsored campaign reports are separate and measure actual sponsored placements only when they are active, such as impressions, taps, hides, reports, likes, or comments. These reports do not include user IDs, raw search text, precise location, private content, IP addresses, or device identifiers. Unless a place is explicitly labeled as sponsored or officially partnered, references are independent and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

How does Heretoday handle non-consensual intimate content reports?

Choose Intimate abuse from the in-app report reasons for non-consensual intimate image or video content when available, or email contact@happsband.com. A valid request should include enough information to identify the content, your contact information, a statement that you are the person shown or authorized to act for them, a good-faith statement that the intimate image or video was shared without consent, an accuracy certification, and your electronic signature. This includes AI-generated, altered, or digitally forged intimate images or videos. We review valid requests urgently and remove required content and known identical copies as soon as possible, no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request.

Who can I contact for questions, suggestions, or reports?
