Terms of Service for Heretoday

These Terms apply to Heretoday, operated by Happsband LLC.

Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Heretoday, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required in your country to use Heretoday. We may ask you to confirm your birthday before sign-in, but we do not store your full birth date for this age check. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under the required age created an account, email contact@happsband.com.

Global availability and local laws

Heretoday may be available in many countries and regions. You are responsible for following laws that apply where you live or use the app. If local law requires a higher age, parental consent, or another condition, you may use Heretoday only if that requirement is met.

Sensitive destinations and mature themes

Heretoday may include destinations associated with nightlife, alcohol, gambling, red-light districts, or other mature themes. Listings are provided for informational travel discovery only and are not endorsements or recommendations about suitability for minors.

Parental supervision

If you allow a minor to use Heretoday, you are responsible for supervising use of the app and deciding what places and content are age-appropriate.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and any activity under it. Keep your credentials secure and notify us of unauthorized use.

User content

You retain ownership of content you share. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload it, including rights for photos, captions, social links, and people shown in your content. If you edit supported post details, the updated text and links remain your content under this license. You grant Heretoday a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content to operate and improve the service.

Profiles and interactions

Your username, profile photo, badge, experience level, and public interactions such as likes, favorites, comments, and mentions may appear in app surfaces. Profile privacy controls normal user-to-user access to your full profile and posts, not whether basic attribution appears with your interactions or whether Happsband can review reported content, reported profiles, or related account context for safety, moderation, support, legal requests, or policy enforcement.

Community guidelines

Be respectful. Do not post unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, nude, misleading, private, infringing, spam, contact-harvesting, or promotional content. Use in-app report tools for content or accounts that may violate these rules. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Moderation and appeals

We may use automated rules, on-device safety checks, provider-assisted checks when enabled, and human review of reports to protect users, enforce these Terms, investigate reports, or comply with law. Authorized Happsband admins may review reported photos, posts, profiles, account details, and related context for those purposes, including content whose normal visibility is restricted by profile privacy settings. If you believe a moderation action was a mistake, email contact@happsband.com with your account details and relevant context.

Admin review and audit records

Authorized Happsband admins may review reported content, reported profiles, account details, and related context only for safety, moderation, support, legal requests, policy enforcement, abuse prevention, appeals, or compliance. We may keep internal audit records of admin access, queue views, status changes, and moderation, privacy, or takedown actions, including the admin account, affected account, content, request, or report identifiers, action, reason, timestamp, and limited before/after status or metadata. These records support accountability, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, and fraud prevention, and are not intended to include raw report text, private content copies, precise location, IP addresses, device identifiers, or tokens.

Prohibited activities

Do not reverse engineer, scrape, spam, or interfere with the app. Do not misuse the service or attempt to access data you do not have permission to access. Do not use Heretoday to solicit sexual services, exploit minors, or facilitate illegal activity.

Third-party services

Heretoday may link to or integrate third-party services. Their terms and policies apply to your use of those services.

Location-based features

Location-based features, distance estimates, nearby alerts, map links, and place suggestions are provided for convenience and may be approximate, delayed, or unavailable. They are not emergency, safety, navigation, or access-control tools. Always verify routes, hours, local rules, conditions, and safety before visiting a place.

Affiliation and sponsorship

Some app surfaces may include labeled ads or sponsored placements. Unless explicitly labeled as sponsored or officially partnered, references to places, landmarks, and establishments are independent and do not imply endorsement or affiliation. We may use aggregate destination demand and sponsored campaign metrics to plan, operate, and report sponsorships. Direct sponsored placements only appear when that feature is enabled and are intended to be labeled in-app.

AI-generated place content

Some place descriptions and place images in Heretoday, including Fun Fact, Best Time, History, and system-generated illustrations, may be generated with AI assistance. If broader localized place content returns later, translated versions may also use AI-assisted translation. They are provided for informational travel planning, may be stylized, and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated details. They may not show the exact current appearance of a place. You are responsible for verifying critical details before relying on them.

Third-party names and trademarks

Third-party names, logos, and trademarks referenced in the app belong to their respective owners.

Travel Creator highlights

Heretoday may identify unpaid Travel Creator accounts and may rank one or two privacy-visible creator posts higher in place detail views. Creator status is not paid sponsorship, partnership, endorsement, or a requirement to promote Heretoday. Profile privacy, blocking, reporting, and moderation rules still control whether a post can appear.

Rewarded Ads and Downloads

Some optional actions, such as downloading your own post photos, may require you to choose whether to watch a short video ad before the action continues. If you do not watch the video ad or the ad is unavailable, the gated action may not continue until you try again or the rewarded gate is disabled. Rewarded and feed ad features are controlled by remote feature flags and may be disabled for launch or in specific regions until ad network and consent setup is ready. When enabled, advertising services may show consent screens or request Apple tracking permission before personalized ads are requested. Where required, Heretoday provides an Account > Ad Privacy Options control for managing or withdrawing ad consent, and Apple tracking permission can be changed in iOS Settings.

Linked accounts

If you add a social or third-party link to your profile or a My Experience post, you represent that it belongs to you or that you have permission to share it. You can edit or remove supported links where the app provides editing tools. Impersonation and misleading identity claims are prohibited.

Authenticity and removal

Heretoday does not independently verify ownership of linked third-party accounts. If a link appears unauthorized or misleading, we may review, remove the link or content, and take account action as needed.

Reports and rights claims

For safety and abuse concerns, use the in-app report tools. For non-consensual intimate image or video content, including AI-generated, altered, or digitally forged intimate depictions, use the specific in-app report reason where available or email contact@happsband.com. Include enough information to identify the content, contact information, authority to act, a good-faith no-consent statement, accuracy certification, and electronic signature. We review valid requests urgently and may remove or restrict reported content and known identical copies, preserve records, request more details, or take account action. For copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights claims, email contact@happsband.com with your contact information, a description of the content, the rights involved, and supporting information. Repeat infringers may lose access to Heretoday.

Disclaimer

Heretoday provides travel content for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, opening hours, closures, pricing, or safety of destinations.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heretoday is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the app at any time.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.

Controlling language

Heretoday may provide translated versions of these Terms for convenience. If a translated version differs from the English version, the English version controls to the extent permitted by applicable law.
